香港城市大学内地学生学者联谊会（简称“学联”）是由在香港城市大学学习工作的内地学人自发组建的非政治性、非营利性、唯一专门服务于香港城市大学内地学生学者的社团，学联的英文名称为
Chinese Students and Scholars Association of City University of Hong
Kong，简称
CSSA@CITYU。学联的宗旨是：构建交流平台，促进内地学人之间的生活、学习和工作的交流，信息共享，组织业余文娱活动，丰富内地学人的业余生活，促进内地学人对香港社会的了解。
学联目前的主要任务及工作包括：
（1）与研究生会、学生会及宿生会之间的合作，举办各类活动，丰富内地学人的业余生活；
（2）与研究生院、学生发展处及学校其它有关部门沟通，改善内地学人在城市大学的学习工作环境；
（3）与香港城市大学职业中心，香港社会各商业组织之间合作，组织各类职业讲座及讨论会，共同探讨未来道路；
（4）与中央人民政府驻港联络办公室、香港其他高校学联及香港社团交流，拓宽内地学人的交际面；
（5）协调，协助学联各俱乐部发展；
（6）发展并维护学联的网络平台，增强内地学人相互交流。
学联由1个执行委员会（下辖执行委员会本科部）、数个俱乐部和网络平台（包括学联网站和“狮子山下”论坛）组成。“狮子山下”论坛原由香港城市大学内地学生学者联谊会创建，目前发展成为香港城市大学、香港浸会大学、香港理工大学和香港教育学院四所高校的内地学生学者联谊会共享的网络平台，论坛里有丰富的生活、娱乐、求职及交友等信息。学联所有的活动信息都会发布在学联网站和“狮子山下”论坛。
学联实行会员制，凡来自内地的香港城市大学学生或学者，将自动成为学联的会员。为了更好地享受会员权利，学联欢迎所有香港城市大学的内地学生学者本着自主选择、自愿参加的原则，在学联网站的“会员注册”页面（http://www.cssacityu.org/member.asp）注册。所有注册过的会员将会在第一时间内收到学联活动的信息，并且享受作为会员的一切权利。
香港城市大学内地学生学者联谊会执行委员会（简称“学联执委会”）是学联的核心工作机构，负责组织大型活动及处理日常事务。学联执委会设主席、常务副主席和财务主管各一名，内务副主席、外务副主席及干事各若干名，由研究生和助理研究员组成。学联执委会下辖香港城市大学内地学生学者联谊会执委会本科部，由来自内地的本科生通过竞选产生，设主席、内务副主席、外务副主席和财务主管各一名，部长及干事若干名，主要负责城市大学内地本科生的日常事务及组织学联的活动。
学联正在蓬勃发展中，现有近950名会员。学联执委会热忱欢迎即将来香港城市大学学习工作的本科生、研究生及助理研究员加入内地学人的大家庭！同时真诚邀请有兴趣参与学联决策及活动组织的内地学生学者加入学联执委会，和我们一起共建香港城市大学内地学生学者的社团！努力让异乡求学工作的生活不再单调，不再孤单！

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association at City University of
Hong Kong (shortened as CSSA@CITYU) is a non-political and non-profit
organization made up of and solely for the mainland Chinese scholars
and students in City University of Hong Kong. It aims at building up a
platform to promote exchanges over study, work and daily life of
mainland scholars and students and to facilitate information sharing,
organizing entertaining and relaxing activities to enrich their
leisure life, and helping them understand more about the Hong Kong
society.
The main work and tasks of CSSA@CITYU include:
1) Cooperate with City University Postgraduate Association (CUPA), the
Student’s Union and the Residents’ Association of CityU and launch all
kinds of activities to enrich the leisure life of mainland scholars
and students.
2) Communicate with CUPA, Student Development Service, and other
relevant departments of the university to improve the studying and
working condition of mainland scholars and students in CityU.
3) Cooperate with CityU Career Center and various business
organizations in Hong Kong on organizing career talks and seminars to
discuss about the future development of mainland scholars and
students.
4) Conduct exchanges with the Liaison Office of the Central People’s
Government in the Hong Kong SAR and our counterparts in other
universities in Hong Kong to expand the interpersonal circle of
mainland scholars and students.
5) Coordinate and assist with the development of clubs associated with
CSSA@CITYU.
6) Develop and maintain the web network of CSSA to enhance exchanges
among the mainland scholars and students.
CSSA@CITYU consists of an Executive Committee (which governs the
undergraduate committee), several clubs and a network platform
(includes the website of CSSA@CITYU and At the Foot of Mt. Lion
forum). The Lion forum was established by CSSA@CITYU and gradually
developed into a network platform shared by the mainland scholars and
students from CityU, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong
Polytechnic University, and Hong Kong Institute of Education. On the
forum influxes rich information related to daily life, entertainment,
job-hunting, friends-making, etc. All the notices and updates of CSSA
activities would be posted on the CSSA@CITYU website and the forum.
CSSA@CITYU exercises membership in that any CityU scholars and
students from mainland China will automatically become its members. To
insure members’ better enjoyment of their rights, CSSA@CITYU welcomes
all mainland scholars and students to get registered to CSSA@CITYU at
http://www.cssacityu.org/member.asp based on the principle of
voluntary option and participation. All the registered members will
receive immediate events information from CSSA@CITYU and enjoy all the
member rights.
The Executive Committee is the core working body of CSSA@CITYU in
charge of organizing big events and processing routine affairs. The
Committee is composed of a President, Deputy President, Vice President
for Financial Affairs, Vice President for Internal Affairs, Vice
President for External Affairs, and several supporting staff, all of
whom are either postgraduate student or research assistants. The
Committee also governs the Undergraduate Executive Committee (UEC) of
CSSA@CityU, whose members are elected from mainland undergraduate
students, including President, Vice President for Internal Affairs,
Vice President for External Affairs, Director for Financial Affairs,
and several department heads and supporting staff. The UEC is in
charge of handling daily matters of mainland undergraduate students
and organizing CSSA events.
CSSA@CITYU is experiencing a vigorous development with a current
membership of 950 people. The Executive Committee warmly welcomes all
undergraduate, postgraduate students and scholars who are coming to
City University into our big family, and sincerely invites those who
are interested in participating in the decision-making of CSSA@CITYU
into the Executive Committee. Let's join hands to build up CSSA@CITYU
and make overseas study and life no longer boring or lonely!
